As we all strive to answer adventures call, it is critical that you bring the correct gear with you. On a recent conquest to the beautiful island of Oahu, I decided that a necessary piece of gear to bring with me would be my Wilderness Technology Double Hammock.
I find being out in the woods a relaxing and necessary part of my life. It’s amazing what a little bit of mother nature can do for you. Clean fresh air, wondrous smells, beautiful sites, and an escape from the chaotic, modern world. Here are six things to think about when going on a camping trip.

The GSI Pinnacle Soloist is a lightweight, backpacking cookset that includes all of the essentials in one sweet little package. In this cookset you will find a pot, a bowl/mug with insulating sleeve, a multi-use lid, a telescoping spork-like utensil (known as a “foon”), a stove bag, and a durable carrying case with fully welded seams that doubles as a backcountry sink.
Allow me to precursor this post by saying that this next hike is not for the faint of heart. Let me also express a deep rage to all of the consulted sources that said this hike was 7 miles round trip, this hike was not. It was a whopping 9.52 miles round trip and is duly marked as Strenuous.
